Welcome to the Grant County Judges Office. As your County Judge, it is my goal to cover all the different facets of our local government. I and my staff strive to answer the problems that arise in the different aspects that come under the umbrella of the Judges Office. The duties of County Judge are many. These consist of; Chief officer of the Quorum Court, Head of and over all county roads, Office of Emergency Management/911, Grant County Rescue, Cox Creek Lake, and the Grant County Courthouse.

Office Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Closed daily from 12:00 to 1:00 for lunch. Our office observes local and state holidays.

Our Grant County Library is located at 210 N Oak and is open Monday 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The library is closed Thursday and Sunday. They offer story hour from September to Mid May on Tuesdays at 9:30-10:30 and 11:00 to 12:00. Our library has many things to offer like a Summer Reading Program that is in June and July, free internet access, audio books, videos, large print books, and magazines. They offer services for the home bound Grant County citizens. If you would like to contact the library for any of these services call 870-942-4436.

The Grant County Museum is located at 521 Shackleford Road in Sheridan and is open Tuesday Through Saturday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. For information about our wonderful museum, click on the link below.
